ServiceChannel integration
Your customers’ work orders arrive in ServiceChannel. Your team works in your field service software. konexall connects the two: new work orders become jobs, and your job updates go back to ServiceChannel without anyone retyping them.

-
Create Jobs
When a ServiceChannel work order is assigned to you, konexall creates the job in your software on the right customer and site, with the work order number, a job name, the response time from its priority, the cost center from its category, its due date and its NTE. You map clients, locations, priorities and categories once, in the konexall portal.
-
Accept and decline
With Create Jobs on, choose the job statuses that mean accept and decline. Moving a job to one of them accepts or declines the work order in ServiceChannel. Or turn on auto-accept, and work orders are accepted as soon as their job is created.
-
Update Status
Map your job statuses to ServiceChannel’s, from Open / Declined to Completed / Pending Confirmation. A status can also record a check-in or check-out on the work order.
-
Send Notes
Job notes marked customer-visible are added to the work order’s notes in ServiceChannel. Internal notes stay internal.
-
Send Attachments
Photos and files marked public are uploaded to the work order, up to 50 MB each.
-
Told when something needs you
If a work order can’t become a job, for example because its location isn’t linked to a site yet, konexall emails the contacts you set with the work order number and what to fix.
Your field service software
konexall works with Simpro today. It adds a custom field, konexall Third Party, to your Simpro customers: set it to ServiceChannel on each customer whose work comes through ServiceChannel. A job’s Order No. holds its ServiceChannel work order number, and jobs konexall creates have it filled in already.

Questions
Do my technicians need the ServiceChannel app?
Usually not. They work in your field service software, and a status change there updates ServiceChannel, including check-in and check-out. The exception is a customer who requires check-in through ServiceChannel’s own app.
Which notes and files does my customer see?
Only job notes marked customer-visible and attachments marked public. Everything else stays in your software.
What happens to a work order for a client or location I haven’t set up?
konexall doesn’t create a job for it. It emails the contacts you set with the work order number and what to map, so the office can create that job and link the location for next time.
Do I still pay ServiceChannel’s fees?
Yes. ServiceChannel still requires you to pay their fees at this time.
